Old Age Home

The Old Age Home, first  of its kind in north Coastal Andhra, Which was sanctioned in 1993 by the Ministry of Welfare with an intake capacity of 25 has now grown to accommodate 50 people in excess of the sanctioned strength of 25 for which the deliberations and draft proposal for capacity enhancement to 50has been finalized.

The Old Age Home accommodates the old and feeble neglected or destitute of both the genders. As of now the home is lodged in a rented accommodation which is posing grievous problems in running the home and the efforts are on in searching for suitable land and location to construct permanent accommodation to make the inmates more comfortable and make the institution more viable so as to cater to the growing demand from year to year. Every year it witnessed a staggering 100 applications for admission apart from the present inmates. The regular counselor would attend to the thereapeutic counseling sessions and activity oriented rest and leisure.

Priyadarshini organisation is also dedicated to serve these old people with available funds all these days but we need some more help from the patrons who can donate with generosity to purchase an ambulance which can remove the corpses of the old age people lying on the roads of vizag city.

In vizag city the old people who are orphaned are dying with illness and after their death no body takes care and their dead bodies are lying on the roads of vizag . so we request you to please kindly donate an ambulance which can take these bodies to cremation grounds.
