Street Children Programme

The PSO has been working with 300 children through 2 centers around Visakhapatnam from 1998 onwards. There ware two Drops in Shelters fro their immediate stay. The main focus is on repatriation and vocational training in painting, Bookbinding, Phenol Making, Scooter and Auto repairs have been launched and made the courses more functional to about 100 children. Thus picked – up children in the age groups with a bent of mind for education were encouraged to going to school, of them 13 going were encouraged to going to school, of them 13 going were attending the formal school instruction. Priyadarshini organisation has been supporting these children with the available resources . It is looking for the patrons who can help them and the funds to organise the vocational and cultural activities to these poor children
